"Dogs To Go" is a small family owned and operated business. We have been building custom wheelchairs for pets since 1999. Our little dachshund, Penny, suffered a ruptured disc at that time and we realized we would need a cart for her. Unfortunately, the wheelchairs on the market at that time were way out of our price range, so Larry, being the inventive soul that he is, designed a great little cart for Penny. It was simple in desgin and it allowed her to be independent again. Dachsunds, as those of you who own them know, are happy when they can hunt, sniff and run arround freely. Our Penny was once again happy.
Since then, we have built over 5000 carts for all kinds of pets. We currently ship them Worldwide. We also have over 600 pets who have continuiously used their dogs to go cart for over 6 years, including our own schanuzer, Mary. So, we KNOW they work!
